So after buying and using GPT 4-32k and GPT 3.5 16k, Magai decided to removed it.
Support was inexistant and emails went unanswered.
I can understand if you don’t want to give the latest AI like Llama or Bison or Midjourney , but removing existing one which people purchased is cheating.

I’ve used a lot of AI writers over the years and what I love about Magai.ai is the straightforward, simple chat file management and predefined avatars.
For the price it’s incredible for copywriting all sorts of topics. I’ve so far used it for writing emails and articles and sales copy.

The image AI really needs work, but that’s in the pipeline.
The limitation is mine: working out the correct prompts to drive what I am looking for, but even that is simpler now by asking the AI for several prompt ideas and honing in on my needs.
If a code output is incomplete on the chat messenger, the direct ChatGPT portal provides a continue to generate button by pressing which we can finally get the full output without errors.
But in magai we have to keep pressing the only button of generate {there is no continue to generate] resulting into erroneous outputs and having informed founders all I got as a reply was you are the only one who has reported this. So I say hardly anyone else is then using it! Get your Act right, please!
I have been using ChatGPT Pro since I found Magai.
When changing tools, I consider what I get and what I lose, so for sure pros of using Magai:
Better organized chats. Using Brands and Folders, you really can get back to those conversations later. In ChatGPT, there was no efficient way if you have many discussions.
Premade Personas are GREAT. It allows you to give correct context for the conversation without saving many prompts in some notes.
Access to Claude. I didn’t test it yet correctly, so I can’t say much about it, but if needed, I can easily change to another AI engine.
Cons:
Limited words. That’s the only limitation of this tool. Yet, I bought a Professional plan, and right now, I don’t see a way to hit the limit when using it the same way as ChatGPT Pro.
I haven’t dug too deep into it yet, but I have used it a couple times. This is a game charger for those who want a personal chatgpt experience. Only thing that is a little frustrating is the load time for the chat to generate its response. Other then that, it seems solid.
Not only is Magai a huge time saver with all the features they have built in to make your workflow creating content faster and easier. It has ChatGPT and Claude which I also love. I do see a lot about Claude being inferior but from messing with both all day long with similar chats , I can say that both options are really useful. Sometimes I have trouble getting chatGPT to give me good short/simple replies and there is a lot of times in e-commerce that I need ideas and content that is short without too much frills in easy and nice language, so when I get stuck with chatGPT I have been moving to a chat with Claude(whom is also faster so that is nice). This deal is great and I am glad I did not miss it, I may have been tempted to buy the second tier if it was not unavailable when I purchased but even the first one will save me so much time and energy.
Things I love about Magai is that chats can go in folders, you can have personas so you do not have to reteach the AI everything when you start a new chat, theres a document builder that you can open on the side of your screen; no more swapping between docs and chat screens, even to the small detail that if you get a wonky response you do not want the AI to reference you can delete or edit it. This is one of those tools I will use constantly, I look forward to future updates and to saying goodbye to my previous tedious content creation process. This tool helps people work more seamlessly with AI, AI is not going away, working with it is something we need to do to maximize productivity these days.

MagAI is a great tool that helps me write better and have fun with AI. I started using it two weeks ago, and I love it. It has a cool feature that lets me write a document next to my ChatGPT chat, which is very handy. I can talk to the AI, get ideas, and write them down all in one place. I don’t have to switch between ChatGPT and another program.
I also like how I can make different brands for different purposes. Each brand can have its own style, audience, and industry. This makes it easy to work on different projects or clients. I think this is a great tool for the ones who don’t need intensive use of Chat GPT (in this case I recommend buying your own subscription and using your own chat, without 3rd party tools). I bought with the perspective to be able to access GPT 4 at every moment and to organize my projects with chat folders.
AI Image generation IMO is unusable: the output is very poor compared to what you can achieve, with the same prompt, with other tools. In definitive: buy Magai if you want chat with GPT 4 or Claude (another very promising AI), don’t count on all other functionalities, they have good potential, but this is my opinion based on what Magai offers today.

I have a few questions:
1) I understand that Magai can do live URL fetching, but can it search the web for current data? The 2021 data cutoff point is usually a problem with most ChatGPT tools currently.
2) Unless this is already possible, is it on the roadmap for Magai to provide sources or inline citations for the answers and data it gives when applicable (like Bing Chat, Perplexity AI, etc.)? I think this is really important now that we have all these AI tools pumping out so much content with no way of knowing where they got the information from.
3) Does it work well with writing and formatting code like OpenAI’s ChatGPT? If not, will it in the future?

1. Yes, Magai can read the information from any public URL you add in the chat. However, Magai cannot perform web searches for you yet. But it’s on the roadmap.
2. Magai is using the API for the included LLMs (currently GPT from OpenAI and Claude from Anthropic). If these LLMs have the ability to cite their information, then that should be reflected in the output.
3. Yes! As I said previously, Magai is simply using the OpenAI and Anthropic APIs. So you get the same exact results as if you were using ChatGPT or Claude directly.

Yes! Those are high priorities for me. Mobile app will likely come first, but Chrome extension soon after. There are a handful of other high priority + high return roadmap items I want to take care of first, but personally I can’t wait to have the mobile app + chrome extension.
What AI Models are included for image generation? Also, any plans to include voice cloning api’s and audio translation (like whisper o lemur)?

1. Yes, it’s a Chat-style interface which includes the entire context of a conversation.
2. Magai only counts words generated against your quota. So each new message removes only that message amount from your usage each time.

1. There are separate limits for GPT-3.5 and GPT-4.
2. Magai only counts the number of words generated against your limits. I don’t count your prompt words.
3. Same rule applies. I don’t count input, only output words. (Something many people don’t even think to ask about, and therefore don’t get to appreciate. 😊)

Brands are simply a way of keeping things separated. Think of it like a workspace: you only see items in the workspace that are relevant to (or created for) the selected brand.
So for example if you had chats that you create for work, and you don’t want them mixed in with chats you create for personal reasons, you would create a “work” brand and a “personal” brand to keep them separate in the interface.
The words limits shown are from Generated Words, right? It is not including our prompts, or is it? This changes widley how we perceive the value of each tier… limits are already quite low, and if our prompts are counted towards the limits then it would very easy to consume those credits…
Correct, David! Most people don’t realize this, and therefore don’t appreciate the fact that Magai does NOT count prompts/inputs against your word limits.

No, that isn’t a possibility at this time.

Is it possible to set the input and output languages once and for all? What are the supported one, BTW?
This isn’t a native feature in Magai, but I believe you can speak to GPT-4 in a specific language and it will return output in that same language. I only speak English, so I haven’t tried this yet. This would be something that the AI models themselves would dictate.
Maybe a persona can be assigned a language, and whatever the results they are return in such language. I know chatGPT can interact in any language. In my case, for example, when I want to translate from any language to Spanish I type esp: and then place the source text after. I saw that sometimes it did it, sometimes it did not, so I told chatGPT towhenever I start with “esp:” whatever it comes has to be always translated into Spanish, and it learnt that process.
I have the same question as Nicolas = can I select / change a language for the input / output in general (this was not evident in the demo video and nothing is mentioned on your website either…).
Another question regarding the brands. If I no longer need a brand / folder, can I delete it and create a new one = because of the limitation of the number of brands in the tiers?
How are the words for the other AI models, e.g. Claude (here again the different models…) counted, since the word limitation is only specified for GPT3.5 / GPT-4…?

Hi, Martin! You can see my response to Nicolas. In short, Magai doesn’t have any language settings, but each AI model has it’s own way of handling different languages.
You can delete brands as needed. However I haven’t considered people might want to do this yet and therefore don’t have a workflow built out to transfer any chats/content you created UNDER that brand to transfer to another brand. I will have to add that to my immediate roadmap.

As a one-man show, I can’t make too many promises. It is a priority, but there are several others ahead of it in terms of broad user needs. In the meantime, the web app works perfectly in a mobile web browser.

Hi, Thorsten! We had only one other person report this and it seems to be a device conflict. Haven’t gotten to the bottom of it, but the best place to troubleshoot is in the app’s Live Support chat window. This way I can get some more information from you to try and track down the issue.
Is this possible to upgrade from pro to agency plan?

is it possible to let the AI rewrite content? I want to write a book and have content, that the AI should rewrite. When i tested ChatGTP4, the AI said, that he will not do it, cause he honor the author, or something like that. Guess the phrase “rewrite” was not good? The funny thing is, AI even stated that, when i am the author of that text, that i put it.
I think this is more a matter of how you approach it. If it is your writing, and you simply paste a few paragraphs of your own writing into the prompt and ask for the AI to write it in a specific way, it should have no problem doing so. What you DON’T want to do is paste an entire chapter (or more) and ask the AI to rewrite it all at once. Taken in small chunks, and with explicit instruction, GPT-4 (or Claude) will do a great job.
Can’t control which team member has access to which Brand/Folder/Chat?

Hi, Jon! Everything you create in Magai is private by default. You will have to manually select items to be Shared with Team.
The only exception is Brands at the moment. All team members will be able to see all Brands, but not all chats/folders created for that brand (only those that have been intentionally shared with the team).
Meant to ask if the “shared” folder s/messages are accessible to every tram member? Or how do we control which discussions are accessible only by certain members?
It depends on the workflow you used to create the Chat. If you start from a Folder that is already shared with team members and click the “New Chat” button at the top of the page, the new chat will be automatically shared with team members. But simply creating a new chat anywhere else in throughout the app will make the chat private by default, even if you move it to a folder that is shared.
At the moment there is no way to control individual member access. An item is either share with everyone on the team, or is private to the creator. I will introduce these more fine-tuned controls eventually. It’s just a matter of prioritizing what I build next based on greatest need/demand.
Agencies often juggle multiple projects simultaneously, each requiring a different team of individuals, and an all-or-nothing sharing approach might inadvertently compromise discretion. Better access control is really required for the “Agency Plan” to enable specific information sharing between only those members working on a particular project or client case, maintaining privacy and compartmentalization within the agency.
I really love Magai so far as an individual user. However, I find it challenging to introduce this to my team, and I would loathe to base our decision on this shortfall and to leave a review for Magai.
Hi, will you perhaps give the ability to input your own API key if we’re willing to take on the API query costs ourselves to lift the ChatGPT or Claude limits specifically?
Not in the near future. The ideal user for Magai is someone who wants the convenience of not having to manage external API keys and external billing. While there are many advanced users who want this feature (because they’ve become accustomed to seeing it offered in other products), the large majority of users don’t want to deal with this added layer. Therefore it’s not the highest priority for me to build. It’s a simple cost/reward calculation—the cost of what it would take from my time to build that in would be much greater than the value it would actually bring to most users. My time is much better invested in building features that add higher degrees of value to the most users possible.

Limitations are dictated by the plans outlined above. They are mostly based on Words Generated per month, number of Team Members, and number of Brands allowed.

I’m interested in purchasing the Professional Plan. I was only able to afford the amount for that plan. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough money for the Agency Plan. However, I noticed that the Professional Plan (License Tier 2) is sold out. Will it be restocked?
We only produced a limited amount of redemption codes for each plan and will not be producing more. If some people decide to upgrade their redemption codes from Professional to Agency, we might be able to re-add some of those codes to the inventory. 2) If I buy second plan with 65k gpt4 words, what would be the limit for claude 100k words? Would it be everything in 65k words, or other models have seperate word limit, and if yes what is the limit?
