Revolutionizing Form Creation with AI and Security
MakeForms has been a game-changer for our data collection process. The no-code AI form builder is a standout feature, making complex form creation a breeze. Its focus on security aligns with multiple data protection frameworks, providing much-needed peace of mind. The custom triggers and workflows are incredibly efficient, enhancing our productivity. While I’ve not yet found any significant drawbacks, continuous exploration of its features might reveal more opportunities for improvement. Its intuitive design, robust security, and seamless integrations, like with Zapier and Google Sheets, have streamlined our workflows, ensuring efficient and secure data handling for our projects.

Efficient and Professional Form Building, as well as Support
I found the setup process straightforward. The forms’ aesthetic is modern and professional, adding an elegant touch of class to my forms. Custom domain setup was a breeze, and the flexibility to toggle between different form styles is a thoughtful touch. MakeForms offers a range of form styles, including a handy one-step form feature, which looks great. The variety caters well to different kinds of projects, making it a flexible choice for collecting data without fuss.
What truly set them apart for me was the exceptional customer support. When I encountered an integration issue, their team was highly accommodating, offering a video call to resolve the problem. The developers were hands-on and available even during late hours, showcasing their commitment to user satisfaction and support quality.

This could have been solved in so much simpler ways.....
I bought makeforms the 23rd of Sept. I have looked at a few webinars. And the founders are obviously taking the competition head on with all the features they are working on. Which the SAAS industry needs a breath of fresh air. And it looks like the there is some happy people (which I guess is already familiar with tech). Before I brushed off the dust of my credit card, I sent them a few questions (20th sept). Which they responded within 12 24 hrs. But it seems like they got tired of my questions after my follow up questions. But still, I was with courage and thought that this were going to be a great product. So I ignored the bad response. And bought the product.
But it wasnt after I bought the product. And watched a lot of their videos I had more questions. This was back around the Oct the 13th. I got a reply with the subject line: “MCP 731 Contact us form”. Which I guess is a good thing. Because it just shows me that they have seen my email.
After some time I sent them 2 other emails with the dates: 8th of Nov. And I had to look for some other emails, because they maybe have had changed their emails. So I found another email they had on their website (2 days ago). But the response was just “Delivery Incomplete”, and a bad email error. Which is not a good thing if you want people to buy your product.
Overall, im sure your product is superb! But Iam not able to use it as I have some questions and need some support on how to use it in certain cases. It looks like the founders are REALLY good at what they are doing, which is making tech products. But bad at actually handling customer service, answering emails (which I also can see from another testimonial above here). By not responding to my emails, I have to make a bad testimonial here. To MAYBE get your attention, and get you to ACTUALLY answer my emails. And you cant blame this on Black Friday either, as I have been patient enough since September. This testimonial could otherwise have been a 4 or a 5 star testimonial. As I see the product has a lot of potential.

Poor support
The product is not user friendly and the support quickly ignored all my emails once they realized that I was not a monthly paying customer. The product does not compare to other more established options and I will go back to using Gravity Forms despite the yearly subscription

This form is going to places
One of the best interfaces among all forms I have used. I must say that this will be one of the best form builders out there shortly. I have used many form tools, but this is the most accessible and intuitive. The UI and UX are incredibly well thought out. It’s already feature-packed, and once they add the payment and squash all the bugs, this will be a great form builder! I have experience with JotForm, Formaloo, Formly, Typeform, FormCan, Microsoft Forms, Google Forms, Question Scout, etc. However, no dark mode makes it difficult to embed it on a dark-mode website. Payments are a regular requirement, and as far as I know – it is in the development pipeline. Also, it is worth noting that MakeForms has 1000+ templates ready to use.

A Great Solution For Forms
As someone who needs to create online forms regularly, I find MakeForms to be an invaluable tool. The drag-and-drop editor makes it easy for me to quickly build professional-looking forms tailored to my needs. I like having access to a variety of field types and options to customize the form styling and branding. MakeForms saves me time while still giving me the power to create polished forms that help me collect the data I need. I would recommend it for anyone looking for an intuitive form builder.

MakeForms is an amazing solution for creating online forms
While this tool may be new, based on the features it starts with, I’m confident that it will be a game changer in the world of forms.
Its interface is sleek and intuitive, making navigation and form creation a breeze. The template library is extensive and offers a wide range of options, saving you time and effort. The calculation module is incredibly easy to use and allows you to create forms with complex calculations effortlessly. Overall, MakeForms is a fantastic tool that has revolutionized how I create forms. Highly recommended!September 23, 2023Verified Review -
Best interface among all forms I have used
I have to say that in the near future, this will be one of the best form builders out there.
I have used a lot of form tools (JotForm, Leadquizzes, Thrive Quiz, SQB, Getleadforms, QuestionScout, etc.) but this is by far the easiest to use and very intuitive. The UI and UX are incredibly well thought out.
It’s already feature packed and once they add the payment and squash all the bugs this will definitely be a great form builder!

Good form solution
Our senior consultant advised us to get MakeForms to address a couple of major pain points with our existing form solutions:
1) Form building experience
2) Email address validation!
3) Access control lists and sensitive data masking
4) Compliance with Canadian PIPEDA
5) Integration with our existing systems via Webhooks and APIThere is a learning curve and documentation is lacking at the moment, but the team is helpful. So far, so good! 🙂

Form Building Done Right!
I’ve coded forms from scratch and built forms using different frameworks and builders. There are a lot of different form builders out there, and (almost) none of them offer the security and compliance level that MakeForms has. At least not on their ordinary plans; it’s reserved for the custom enterprise plan, where you will have to pay a ridiculously high amount annually. MakeForms offers full compliance with the security and privacy standards on all of their plans!
The feature set of MakeForms is one of the best and complete out there. The Vault is very interesting and enables very advanced forms that can make API calls. The builder is great. The Sources feature, where one form can have multiple links, individually configured, is super useful!
Bugs? Sure, there are a few here and there, as expected with any initial version. The team is quick to acknowledge and pushes fixes pretty quickly.
All aside, the founder of MakeForms is passionate about it and has a vision that guarantees MakeForms (and their other products) will be great, unique, and with attention to detail. This was clear after watching his presentations and interactions with the community. The team listened to all feedback and launched some of the frequently asked features in a short period of time.
I’m looking forward to migrating and also starting new projects on the MakeForms platform! Wishing Pratik and team a successful LTD and lots of success to come.

Got a Question? Ask here.
Please reconsider the limits concerning users, workspaces and custom domains and the storage for tier 3 or introduce a tier 4 with near unlimited lots except got storage let it be 500GB.
Your product looks polished and promising but concerning LTDs it’s just not adequate. Please reconsider all tiers and introduce a fourth with comfortable limits.
I’m very surprised with this deal and would be more surprised if it generates any positive buzz with current limits around the community. The app looks good and promising, but at the end of the day, it’s just a new form tool with nothing proprietary or impossible to replicate within days/weeks to be integrated on existing tools. Got very excited while going through the product page, super disappointed at the end.
Hi there! we heard you and now the plans are hugely generous, do grab your code now 🙂
@Bruno and @MHDLABIB
The limits are now updated.
Very stingy deal. Would consider buying but not this level of stinginess.
Hi Nano, we heard you. All the plans have been bumped now with generous limits. You can confidently get your code now 🙂
Can i embed a Trafft Calender booking link into the form, a d have it appear based on submitted response logic?
Any flexibility on the limits?
Hi Nathan, you can surely have a Calendly integration or booking into the form, additionally, you can use conditional logic to make the calendly appear based upon the responses.
We went ahead and updated the limits and made the deal more generous so you can now confidently go ahead and grab your code 🙂
Is there any Lookup Field that we can use?
Can we capture lookup values on your form?
Filter lookup choices by date
Filter choices on your form using cascading lookups
At the moment, no. We are working on how to implement this feature.
The limits of this deal are too low ! Make it impossible for agencies to go ahead and use it !
Hi Rodrigo, We went ahead and updated the limits and made the deal more generous so you can now confidently go ahead and grab your code 🙂
Q-1: is KYC Feature included in this deal ?
Q-2: This deal Mapped with a Pro plan OR essential Plan as mentioned on your website ?
1. KYC and SMS Verification are available as an addon on a credit basis for LTD and regular users
2. The deal offers is very generous for LTD users and offers unlimited responses and better limits then Pro and Essential plan
BabbleBox.ai By MakeForms looks good. in the future, will it separate product OR part of MakeForms?
We are working on this and will let you all know soon. Will request you to join the babblebox.ai and join the wait list.
Hi there, thank you for increase the limits I create a account to test it first!
Follow some questions:
1 – Your site have brazilian portuguese version available, where can I change the language of dashboard to this language too?
2 – We are located in Brazil, are you guys LGPD compliance?
3 – License Tier 3 will have all agency plan updates right?
4 – Can we customize the email notifications to send in brazilian portuguese?
5 – There’s any whitelabel feature available as we are in a agency tier like cname ?
6 – As we have limited storage how much storage specific workspaces can use?
Best regards
1. The dashboard will be soon launched in Portuguese. Along with that you will be able to create multi-lingual forms too
2. At the moment, we have not initiated compliance for LGPD. We will check with our Compliance agency about the same
3 – Yes.
4 – At the moment, this is now possible. I will have to ask you to request this feature at https://frms.link/zvksguf/
5 – Please explain this in detail
6 – The limits are on account level.
If I purchase the agency tier and I use a custom domain will my clients know I am using Make Forms.
How will the clients get access to the leads will they have their own log in?
How are the form submissions delivered is it through email sms?
Can I use my own branding on email that get sent to my client or will it say from Make Forms?
We will not have any MakeForms branding anywhere
Your clients will need a MakeForms account to get access to the leads
Submissions can be delivered via email
We are working on this.
1. Can the data collected by the forms be sent somewhere on form submission – for example, a Google sheet?
2. How can I trial the product without purchase?
1. Yes. Google Sheets integration is built in
2. You can create a free account at https://app.makeforms.io/sign-up
1. Yes. Submissions can be sent to the Google sheet / Notion / Airtable directly
2. Just create an account at https://app.makeforms.io/sign-up to try the product.
Dan –
1] yes. It has native Google Sheets integration.
2] Yes. Just do their free trial available by registering on their site here: https://makeforms.io/
LTD users have discount to purchase your addons? I saw the prices and KYC is very expensive! Also, KYC works in Brazil?
At the moment, there are no such discounts. KYC is $3 per KYC. Yes, the vendor we use does KYC for users in Brazil too.
Hi,
About storage I have three questions:
1 – Can you create integrations with dropbox, google drive or other services to allow connect our account to use storage from these services? Then we will not need to use your 500GB.
2 – In case we need more storage how it will works? it’s an addon? how much will cost?
3 – How can we limit the storage that each workspace can use?
1 – > We are thinking about it
2 -> At the moment, we do not have an add-on. We might introduce it in the near future
3 -> Right now you cannot do this.
What’s the KYC add-on? As in, what are the features, what’s involved, how much does it cost, when is it required, etc.?
KYC means Know Your Customer. This is often used by banks and financial institutions a lot who need to ensure that the customers are genuine. KYC costs $3 per KYC initiated
Hi Pratik, thanks for the response!
What I meant, more specifically, is what is the KYC process? What are the steps involved when KYC is initiated, from the beginning through to completion?
How does this compare to wpforms? Does it have the same features as wpforms or is anything missing?
WP Forms is a WordPress plugin for forms while MakeForms is a full-blown SAAS tool. With WpForms, the compliance part rests on you. With MakeForms, all the data is always secure and you do not need to worry about compliances like SOC2 / ISO / PIPEDA / CCPA / GDPR.
I have not personally used WPForms to build a form. So I cannot comment on the way the form builder works.
Hi, I went for the agency Tier before you even improved the deal! Can I know if I’m still part of the new deal not the old one please?
All the new limits will apply.
Hi I went for the Agency Deal even before your upgrade. Can I get a confirmation that I’m also getting the new deal not the older one please?
Yes. The new limits will apply.
If I bought and want to change to a different tier, do I have to refund and buy again?
Hi Hector – Please request a refund fro the original purchase from your My Account dashboard. For “reason”, please put upgrading to higher tier. Our team will process this as RocketHub credits so you can immediately apply them to the higher tier.
Being able to send form results to the “sender” of the form should be a must, and also to other emails configured in the form settings (without having to be users of Makeforms). Is this something you have in your roadmap in the near future? Thanks.
Hector – Yes. They actually expedited this since a few people asked. It is expected in the upcoming release next week. Here’s the founder posting about it. Here is that post and screenshot of what it will look like is in there: https://www.facebook.com/100000227725520/videos/707732277849158/
Hello
Is there support for RTL languages? Can I build the forms with RTL direction? Will it work in Hebrew?
Is API access to the submitted form data included?
still looking forward to an answer
Chintan –
1. You can already export the data.
2. You can already use Webhooks = Push your data collected by the forms to other systems & services easily by integrating webhooks
3. It already has integrations with Zapier, Make, and Pabbly (via webhooks).
Can we use MakeForm on behalf of our customers, using their emails for the notifications. In other words… We create 100s of small websites for small businesses, can we use MakeForm to add a contact for on each one of these websites, so each one of these business owners will receive the notifications on their respectives websites? If so, where is that feature on the program, i do not see it anywhere 🙁
Yes. You can use with customers. I recommend just using 1 workspace per client so everything is neatly separated.
You can add their emails to email notifications even if you don’t add them as users to your MF account. The MakeForms team actually expedited this feature request since a few people asked. It is expected in the upcoming release next week. Here’s the founder posting about it. Here is that post and screenshot of what it will look like is in there: https://www.facebook.com/100000227725520/videos/707732277849158/

Dear , i see it , and it is well , but why not Unlimited domain in the first launch , and why not make it as a plan
You can use the forms on UNLIMITED sites / domains.
The mapped domain URLs are what is limited by plan and all that means is how many mapped domains you can use for your own short URLs for the forms. So instead of the forms having this link url like this: frms.link/abc123 – if you map your own domain – the form link can be: domain.com/abc123
Hope that clarifies. I’ll also update verbiage in the plans and add a FAQ so this doesn’t confuse others.
Could you share any video if you have about how to make a calculator?
Read more about it here: https://makeforms.io/use-case/calculator-form/

Hi, can you please let us know the limits for the ‘in-email form collection’ AMP feature?
On the site, it is mentioned 1000 for essentials plan, 5000 for pro and 15000 for agency.
Can you let us have higher limits here?
Thank you
That is correct. 1k / 5k / 15k respectively as they map to the existing plans on their site.
Unfortunately not. It’s a LTD already that is giving way more than any other forms app that doesn’t do nearly as much. So not only is their LTD pricing cheaper already, the app already has MORE features with greater attention to detail than similar competitors. It doesn’t get cheaper than this.
Can makeforms make app like formaloo does?
Yes, it surely can. We recently created a video showcasing how MakeForms replicated a form type with exact form fields and published it live for the world to see. Here is the video you can go through: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSE24sRIcwY
Q-1: My worry is that you will invest LTD money into BabbleBox.ai and may stop further development of Make form to focus on BabbleBox. Please clarify your stance on this.
Q-2: Do you have any updates regarding offering BabbleBox.ai to the LTD buyer? The refund window is closing soon for me. Hence, it would be great if you could announce it as soon as possible.
If you’re buying solely for BabbleBox, and not the 100 other amazing features baked into core of this app, then please do not do that. The topic of BabbleBox (an experimental unfinished mini-app) only came up after the deal went live and is a bonus only if they hit a sales milestone which has not yet been hit. You should be assuming it won’t be part of LTD as it’s never been marketed as such.
Also, as it is an experimental unfinished side project, to integrate it into the more robust MakeForms app will take time. During the webinar, they indicated it could take 4 months.
If you’d like more detailed context around it, please scan today’s webinar recording as we discussed this topic:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_u3nqbjJ3A
Will this integrate with integrately?
Integrately is not a priority but you can suggest the feature here: https://roadmap.makeforms.io/roadmap
This is not to imply at some point in future Integrately won’t be added.
For now…
1. You can already export the data.
2. You can already use Webhooks = Push your data collected by the forms to other systems & services easily by integrating webhooks
3. It already has integrations with Zapier, Make, and Pabbly (via webhooks) which are more popular than Integrately.
hello, what are the limits for sending emails with forms . Do we need to buy credits for the same and what are the cost for that .
If you’re referring to AMP emails (in-email forms), those are 1k / 5k / 15k respectively. Also stated in the FAQ above.
Emails like standard form response notifications or confirmation emails are unlimited.
Hello, I am really interested in your product it covers a lot that is used in my business. If I were to move to things over to makeforms we would ultimately become heavily reliant on the app, as a business. How can I be confident that makeforms will still be available in 3 years, 5 years, 15 years etc. Thanks.
For context, the MakeForms team spent almost 2 years building this app. I don’t think any team does that with the intent to fold in 3 months.
I don’t think any team spends this much time, costs, resources, and energy to get these certifications and credentials BEFORE launching:
HIPAA, SOC2, GDPR EU & UK, ISO 27001, PIPEDA, CCPA, and Australian DPA.
This is the same team behind MakeStories.io (founded 5 years ago) and a leader in that category with Enterprise level clients. And still here…
Just this week, they made these 2 announcements / achievements:
1, Top 30 out of 1500 startups in India – https://yourstory.com/2023/09/tech30-most-promising-indian-startups-2023-techsparks
2. Salesforce Startup Program – https://startups.my.site.com/s/portfolio
Clearly, they’ve got a lot invested into this app.
However, if there’s a better alternative in market with more credibility and better features, skip this LTD.
5 years? 15 years? How can one be sure your current solution will be around then? Unfortunately, that’s a tough question as nobody knows what will happen 5 or 15 years down the road and it’s unreasonable to expect a firm response to that from a startup. I wonder how other competitors with less features, less credibility, less attention to detail would answer this question?
We touched on a lot of their history and what makes them special in this webinar recording:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_u3nqbjJ3A
Hello
Is there support for RTL languages?
Thanks, this is currently being considered by the team at MakeForms but there is no definite timeline.
Are you planning to integrate MakeForms with the getting very popular scheduling service TidyCal?
It is a not a top priority. They will be spending majority of Q4 focused on fixing bugs, stabilizing the platform, and ensuring their myriad of features all work perfectly. Thereafter, more integrations are planned.
Please suggest this as a feature so others can vote it up too on the roadmap:
Roadmap: https://roadmap.makeforms.io/roadmap
I purchased your TIER 2 Plan, and activated it, but I only have access to the Basic free plan. My profile even shows the LTD from Rockkethub. So must be a bug. I have also logged a ticket, but no response. Can someone resolve this in the next 24hrs? if not ill be asking for a refund before the 30 days is up on 24th Sept. Thanks
Hi Paul, have you emailed to support@rockethub.com? pls, do so we can look into the query.
my question has not appeared or been answered? Thanks
What is the question?
Can I make a vote form and show the real time results?
Assuming you mean create a QUIZ and show the result. YES.
See here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2uspShNThQ
Assuming you mean create a POLL and immediately show/share the results of ALL the participants. Yes.
Read about it here: https://makeforms.io/use-case/poll-maker/
Hello. I am very curious about this tool, but have not yet come across a video showing the form live on a website.
I am a web designer and use Elementor Pro as a page builder. Here I can also create nice forms with a drop and drag editor and keep track of all entries. Why go for MakeForms anyway? I would love to hear about it. Thanks!
Hi Mark – See the videos here as they have very detailed demos and step-by-step guides:
https://www.youtube.com/@makeforms/videos
Few examples that show forms:
1. How to create a contact form using Conditional Logic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZTsgOfBIzQ
2. How to make one-at-a-time forms inside MakeForms: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=so7Mm9d0BPA
3. How to create a survey form inside MakeForms (comparison with Formaloo): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSE24sRIcwY
Here are webinar recordings where we went through some examples live:
1. Webinar from 1 month ago – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hK06jpA5qQI
2. Webinar from today (09/22) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_u3nqbjJ3A
It would be nice to have a feature where you can search through the templates. Right now there are so many templates and they aren’t in alphabetical order. A search would be very helpful.
The form builder works great though once you get use to the flow.
Thanks, David for this feedback, have passed the same to MakeForms team!
I am very interested in the product. I am looking for this kind, but also an alternative to Kahoot. Are or will you be able to make quizzes similar to the Kahoot have already created?
Hi J, MakeForms can definitely create quizzes based on conditional logic and scoring systems, Kahoot seems like a dedicated platform for engaging quizzes. I won’t say an alternative but MakeForm’s use case for quizzes is different. If you can let me know for which niche you are looking to build a quiz, can guide you better.
Thanks for the reply. So, I wish to make a “presentation” using the form quiz for handball referees. In detail, I would make one at a time slide (that I will present in front of every participant) to first show the video and have the users select a, b, c or d option, where one is correct. Their responses are tracked on time, as well as if they are correct. Hope this makes sense and I really hope this is possible with MakeForms!
1. Is there a limit of notification email when the form get submitted for highest tier?
2. Does Agency Plan come with Whitelabel CName or on the roadmap?
No response. I assume it’s a go for me.
Hi, I am creating a form to collect information about a person’s details including qualifications and certifications. Once the person submits the form, I want to take that person’s information and publish that as a webpage, so the person can use the web URL to showcase their profile. Is this possible with makeforms?
Hi Sarav – MakeForms helps you collect and organize your responses but there is no flow as of now that will automatically convert those responses to webpages.
Hi What is the limitation for Collect Data on Email (AMP) if we take one of these offer
If you’re referring to AMP emails (in-email forms), those are 1k / 5k / 15k respectively. Also stated in the FAQ above.
Emails like standard form response notifications or confirmation emails are unlimited.
Can the forms be saved as drafts before submission and continue to submit it when the all needed information in hands?
Hi Sergey – I don’t have that information readily available but have asked the MakeForms team. Unfortunately, this LTD ends in a few hours (looks like we’ll need to extend a few extra hours). However, I would not hold up buying it just for this question as even if it does not exist yet, this is something I can see them adding to their roadmap.
Hey Sergey,
Yes! Users filling the forms can click on save and get the link which they can revisit later and fill the form. So, technically yes. It is available. TO enable this setting, just turn on the “Save And Continue” in the form.
Thats great, but is it possible to use it for internal use? My usecase is like, I need a form project based, so one form for one project, so I need to fill in information in this form based on the project using webhooks or API
Does the support exist?
Many translation bugs, one logic bug that makes your product useless that deletes all the logic operators.
1) Many translation problems with no ability to translate:
-Welcome screen button “next” and no customization options to it,
-no ability to translate “Submit” button,
and in input field no ability to translate the placeholder inside input.
2) Custom domain doesn`t work. All forms are showing make forms domain while sending email.
3) Be careful with the logic conditions: 2 fields with related conditions to this 2 can delete all unrelated conditions if to delete or move one of these 2.
4) vault doesn’t work, I test it get response and while I go next to map the request with fields I get blank screen.
5) Support doesn`t exist, few days no responce at all
